EASA Audit amto 147 GMF

European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) has conducted an annual audit Aicraft Maintenance Training Organization (AMTO) 147 to GMF. Audit carried out by EASA auditor, Dominique Lissandres for 3 days, on 6 - May 8, 2015.
In the audit, GMF propose the addition of EASA class training capability for B777 type rating. In addition, GMF also requested approval to conduct training classes EASA EASA outside GMF facility. "The audit went smoothly," said Yayan Heryana as GM Quality GMF Learning Services. Over at GMF, auditors conduct an examination of various documents such as instructure qualification training, training records, quality system, Mtoe (Maintenance Training Organization Exposition), the results of internal audit, and others. Auditors also review the practical simulation in Garuda B777 aircraft as well as the implementation of the direct view type rating B747-400 training in Classroom. "Auditors assess the way instructors teach us quite good and interactive," he said. From this audit, there are some findings that became auditor records which were related to the level of English Instructor, Practical Training Log, and Examination Standard. Airbus gives time for 3 months to the GMF to address the audit findings.
